Our story

Why Nomad Roll exists

A full open mat, grapplers training together

I was born in Argentina, and for as long as I can remember my life has run on two things: jiu-jitsu and the road. The mats taught me discipline; travel taught me that the world is full of people who'll take you in if you find them.

I've trained through California, across Europe, and anywhere the next session pulled me. Every time I landed somewhere new, finding a gym was easy. Finding a good place to stay, near good mats, with someone local who actually wanted me there, was not.

"When you're young, a friend's couch is part of the adventure. Later, you just want a clean bed and someone who'll tell you where to roll."

The best trips of my life were the ones where someone from the local academy opened their door, walked me to open mat, and by the end of the week felt like family. That's the feeling Nomad Roll is built around — and it starts in Barcelona, one welcome at a time.
